Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE coffee. In fact, I probably would bleed coffee. In winter it’s americanos and lattes all the way, but in Summer, I’m all about that cold brew life. Cold brew black. Cold brew lattes. And this, the mother of all iced coffee recipes. I give you, the cold brew banana frappuccino.
You will need:
- 1/2 cup cold brewed coffee (you can buy, or make your own)
- 2 1/2 frozen bananas (frozen once covered in black spots)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup plant milk of choice
Method:
You need to do this in 2 stages if you want a 2-toned drink, if not – chuck it all in a blender, blend, serve. If you want a fancy-shmancy 2 toned instagrammable frapp, follow these instructions; First blend the bananas, vanilla extract and plant milk until smoothe. Then remove about 3 tbsp of the mixture and set aside. Next add in your cold brew and blend again. Serve the darker mixture straight into a glass, then top with the lighter one. Grab your reusable metal straw and enjoy a drink that any omnivore would kill for (pun intended because they actually do), but yours is completely cruelty free!
